Pink Floyd stamps are Top of the Pops
Thursday 7 July was a busy morning for Customer Service Advisor Hasu Patel, who works on the Stamps counter in Trafalgar Square branch.
The new Pink Floyd Music Giants stamps went on sale there at 8.30am, with stamp collectors and Pink Floyd fans all coming to the branch to purchase stamps on their first day of sale.
Pink Floyd fan Fuka Sakai (pictured below) was the first to purchase the stamps.

Second in line was stamp collector Alfred de Tullo, who is a regular visitor to the branch on the days when new Royal Mail stamps first go on sale. Alfred has been collecting stamps since the sixties and has hundreds of first day covers and presentation packs in his collection. |
"My favourite stamp is the one issued to celebrate England winning the 1966 World Cup. Though the 2008 James Bond stamps and the Kings and Queens series also some of my favourites too."
Hasu Patel also took part in the filming, explaining to the presenter the different stamps available.
Watch out for updates on when the documentary will air.
