Health Lottery raises million for good causes across Wales

The Health Lottery will be raising money for good causes in Wales throughout May 2021. Over £6.9m has been raised so far supporting projects like Hirwaun YMCA in Cynon Valley and Rainbow Biz in Deeside.

Through the People’s Health Trust, the “Active Communities funding programme” will be supported by money raised from each draw. Health Lottery ticket sales help towards projects that encourages strong connections between people, and that help people to make their communities or neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, and work.

Draws take place Tuesday-Saturday, with prizes up to £25,000 per draw. Players who play for the Wednesday or Saturday draws, are also entered into an additional free prize draw to win £100,000 for no extra charge.

By supporting The Health Lottery in your branch, you have helped to raise over £118m for good causes, funding over 3,000 projects tackling issues such as isolation, mental health and poor physical health. Thank you for your ongoing support.
