Barnards Green branch got an extra helping hand when the Mayor of Malvern joined the team for the day on Friday (10 March).
Postmaster Jenny Cain is helping to raise money for local charity Acorns Hospice. As part of the hospice’s fundraising initiatives, the Mayor agreed to ‘rent herself out’ to raise money for the cause and help out at the shop and Post Office.
“The Post Office is a vital part of the community and it was brilliant to be joined by the Mayor for the afternoon. Our customers loved meeting her,” said Jenny.
“She can come and help again any time, and we raised nearly £70 for Acorns Hospice too.”
