Get involved: Self-serve online hub

In the April issue of One Business Update sent to all postmasters/agents, we included information about a new self-serve online hub for postmasters. This will provide real-time sales information through a website.  

Teams made up of postmasters, multiple branch retailers and developers from Fujitsu joined us for a two-day ‘hackathon’ to pool all our ideas, and this helped us develop the hub. We have been testing this recently.

Pilot with postmasters

We are now moving forward with this project and are looking for 300 postmasters to help us pilot the self-serve online hub. At this stage, we are piloting the applications to see real-time Mails sales information for your branch and report IT issues.

When the hub is fully up and running, it will be one-stop shop for all postmasters which will mean you can do a wide range of processes and updates online that are currently done manually.

Other features we will look to bring on board in the future include ordering cash/stamp stock, amending branch opening hours and improved access to essential communications.
