Queen’s Birthday Celebrations put their stamp on the headlines

Post Office branches across the country are set to be part of some very special birthday celebrations this week as stamps to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday go on sale in 8,000 branches tomorrow (21 April).

The images on the stamps have been hitting the headlines in the national news today, literally making front page news!  The stamps feature a family portrait of the four generations of the House of Windsor: HM The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH The Duke of Cambridge and HRH Prince George of Cambridge in his first appearance on a stamp. The set of 10 stamps also mark Her Majesty’s significant achievements over the years.

As the birthday celebrations commence, we’d like to hear your special stories or memories relating to the Queen over the past  90 years.

Did your community do something special for the Coronation, have you or someone from your branch attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace or maybe there’s even been a Royal visit to your branch?

All responses will be entered into a prize draw to win a picnic hamper to help you celebrate Her Majesty’s Official Birthday in June with style.
