We’ve launched two new Post Office credit cards through our partnership with Capital One UK, one of the UK’s leading credit card providers.
These are the first cards to be launched as part of this new partnership, established to help a wide range of customers with credit.
We plan to introduce our black Post Office Travel card and red Post Office Classic card in branch in 2020. We’re initially launching online, but more information about our new credit cards, the benefits they offer and how you can refer your customers will be available in branch in the new year.
Post Office Money Director, Chrysanthy Pispinis, said: “I’m pleased to announce the launch of our two new Post Office credit cards in partnership with Capital One. The two new cards, are designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of customers by featuring a combination of benefits.
“Capital One’s mission to ‘Change Banking for Good’ is a great fit with Post Office’s own aspirations in financial services, to support our customers’ changing needs and give them broader access to products and services.”
By partnering with Capital One UK, our customers can apply for a card with Quick Check – a tool that provides a quick credit decision with no impact on their credit rating. Customers also have free access to Credit Wise, a tool providing support and guides to help build and increase their credit rating.
Our partnership with Capital One UK is separate to the previous Post Office credit card offering with Bank of Ireland. Our existing customers with credit cards provided by the Bank of Ireland can continue to use their card in the same way as they do now.
