Post Office has been listening to feedback from around the network and identifying ways to improve the training and support available to Postmasters, to help them confidently run their business.
Alongside the new online learning solutions and operational guides that we’ve recently told you about, we’ve continued to focus on improving the training we offer Postmasters in a classroom setting.
When Postmasters join the business, they complete the onboarding classroom-based training. We’ve now opened up this core operational training to Postmasters’ branch teams.
In addition, we have also launched the following classroom training:
- A one-day course on basic counter transactions for Postmasters, Branch Managers and members of their branch teams
- A one-day course on basic balancing for Postmasters, Branch Managers and senior branch team members
To book any of these one-day classroom-based courses, please email PostmasterTraining@postoffice.co.uk. You’ll need to provide the delegate’s full name, contact telephone number, branch name, branch code and the course you wish to attend. You’ll then be contacted by your local trainer to discuss dates and details.
