Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion: The Alwen Lyons Award

Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion: The Alwen Lyons Award

As many of you will be aware, Company Secretary Alwen Lyons leaves the Post Office after 33 years, this month. Throughout her time with the Post Office, Alwen has been a tireless champion for diversity and inclusion, helping us to take huge steps forward as a business.

To mark Alwen’s leaving and to celebrate her achievements, we are introducing an annual Alwen Lyons award, which will recognise colleagues who have gone above and beyond for diversity and inclusion.  The prize will be a trip for two to New York City.

If you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague for the Alwen Lyons award, please send a short paragraph outlining your or a colleague’s contribution to diversity and inclusion at the Post Office to lauren.gallagher@postoffice.co.uk by Friday 15 September 2017

The winner will be someone who drives change in the diversity and inclusion space and will be announced at the diversity and inclusion event in Chesterfield on 12 October 2017.  You can register for the event here.
