It was a night to remember at the Postal Museum as our very first Post Office People Award winners were crowned.
As a place dedicated to celebrating our heritage and telling our stories, the Postal Museum was the perfect setting to celebrate the achievements of today’s colleagues and make sure their extraordinary efforts were fittingly recognised.
Each award entry was anonymised and judged by a panel created specifically for each award prior to the event. The judging panels had a really hard time choosing the winners – with the quality of submissions being so high from colleagues who were determined to see their nomination declared a winner.
The awards ceremony was hosted by the BBC One Show and Family Cooking Showdown presenter Angellica Bell, who shared her stories and memories of Post Office and welcomed the nine presenters and winners to the stage.
The Post Office People Awards 2018 winners are:

The awards were created after many people said they wanted to see the great work done by their colleagues celebrated more widely across the business – for a full report of the evening including video, interviews with our winners and more about why they were selected - come back to One next week.
