You’re invited to a special event to help you and your team make the most of Travel Essentials, during our peak sales period from June to September.
Our business ambition is to remain the UK’s number one for travel money. But, just like the summer holiday sunshine, competition in the travel market is heating up and we want you to be equipped and supported, so you’re able to exceed our customers’ changing needs and expectations.
Around 80% of our travel business goes through our branches, and we know this is an important service in your branch.
With your support:
- Last year, we sold over £2000 in Euros every minute – while some of this was online sales, you still benefited from orders which were collected and fulfilled out of branch stock
- We have now sold over 300,000 new Post Office Travel Money Cards and we know that a customer spends money on their card every three seconds. With over 80% of Travel Money Cards sold in Post Office branches, this means you can continue to receive remuneration on subsequent top ups
- We do around 75% of our total annual Post Office Travel Insurance business during the summer and your branches play a very important role in this – even if you don’t make the sale in branch, you can still be credited for online and telephone sales if your customers let us know your branch details.
How will you benefit from attending?
We would like to help you to provide a first class experience in branch, which drives customer loyalty, encourages repeat business and increases your income during the peak summer holiday season.
It’s all about developing your skills so you can connect with your customers, make a great first impression and build better relationships through simple conversations that put their essential travel needs first.
This year, we’ve invited over 11,000 branches and we’re holding around 60 workshops, all taking place between 14 May and 28 June 2019 in the afternoon between 2.30-5pm or an evening event between 6.30-9pm.
These workshops will help you to be fully prepared for the summer peak and it’s also a great opportunity to meet your Area Manager if you have not done so yet.
You can register online here or you can call 0800 068 1791 between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
