Last week, we shared details about an external brand advertising campaign we are launching in the Midlands area. You can read more here in Part 1.
The aim of the campaign is to redefine the Post Office in a positively surprising way. Through bold and creative concepts the campaign will tell stories of everyday situations where the Post Office plays, and can play, an important role Post Office in the lives of consumers.
We will be highlighting customer needs relating to cash, online returns, mails, mortgages travel money and identity.
As this is a campaign intended to influence consumers, we’ve worked with consumers to help develop and refine the concept.
We hope that this initial test will give us lots of learnings about what consumers think and as we move to planning phase 2 we be recruiting a number of postmasters to help shape and guide what comes next. The campaign launches in the Midlands on Monday 8 October and will be delivered through press advertising, cinema advertising, Video On Demand (ITV player/ All4 player etc), YouTube, Radio and on Social Media and will run until November 2.
