New store layout, expert stocking and easy to navigate aisles have earned the team at Woodhouse Street Post Office & Londis a place in the IAA finals.
Easy to navigate layout increases sales
While we wait for the results of the Independent Achievers Academy awards, we take a closer look at some of the 12 retailers with a Post Office who are through to the finals.
Woodhouse Street Post Office & Londis in Leeds is through to the finals of the Independent Achievers Academy (IAA awards) in two categories; Store Layout and Availability.
The Londis Concept convenience store is now easier for people to navigate their way around, including those with prams and wheelchairs.
Better flow of customers with new, wider aisles
Operator Peter Bhadal: “We have vastly improved the look, feel and the layout of the store to improve customer flow. It is now much easier for customers to move around the store. Customers really like the modern new layout, with more space in the aisles, it is now much easier for customers to navigate their way around the store and to find items quicker.
“Each category flows much better with relevant and related departments located to complement one another, along with theatre for key areas.”
As a result of the new store layout there has been a noticeable increase in sales within key areas.
Mr Bhadal and his staff have also always been good at making sure the retail shelves are well stocked and merchandised correctly, recognised with their place in the finals for Availability.
Best of luck to all of the Woodhouse Street team in the finals!
