As you may have seen, from 23 March 2020, Royal Mail will increase the price of a 1st Class stamp by 6p to 76p and the price of a 2nd Class stamp will increase by 4p to 65p.
Royal Mail have said that these price increases are needed to ensure the sustainability of the universal postal service. As the UK’s designated universal service provider, Royal Mail provides a ‘one-price-goes-anywhere’ range of letter and parcel services to over 30 million addresses across the whole of the UK, six days a week.
From Monday 24 February 2020, you will start to receive your Royal Mail Value Stock, to support this tariff change. Please book your stock onto Horizon on the day you receive it. More details can be found in Branch Focus online and on Horizon from Monday 24 February.
