The online shopping and returns market continues to grow rapidly and to meet the ever-changing needs of customers, Amazon has teamed up with Next to launch a new service – Amazon Counter.
Available from hundreds of Next stores, shoppers can choose a pick-up point when they reach the check-out on the Amazon website and will receive an email notification once their parcel has arrived at their chosen Next store.
Recent research by Global Data predicts click and collect will account for over 12% of online sales by 2023, but that the decline of the high street may impact the availability of places to collect from.
Amazon's new Counter service joins its existing Amazon Lockers pick-up points, found on petrol station forecourts and supermarkets and Doddle parcel pick-up points. Amazon are also a key partner for Post Office with their Local Collect service from many of our branches.
